Terms of Use

DocOga · Last updated: 18 September 2026 · Abuja, Nigeria

The short version: DocOga gives you self-help document templates — not legal advice, not a law firm. Use the documents honestly. The Oga Pass is ₦2,000 for 30 days, with no automatic renewal.

1. What DocOga is

DocOga provides tools that help you generate standard Nigerian document drafts — tenancy agreements, notices, receipts and invoices — based on the information you enter. DocOga is not a law firm, does not practise law, and does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Nothing on this website is legal advice for your specific situation.

2. Your responsibility

A document becomes valid only when properly completed, truthful, signed by the right parties and, where required, witnessed. For complex or high-value matters, have a qualified Nigerian lawyer review your documents before signing. You use DocOga at your own discretion and risk.

3. Honest use only

You agree to use DocOga only for lawful, truthful purposes. You must not use the tools to create false, misleading or fraudulent documents — for example, a receipt for money not received, an invoice for goods not supplied, or a document impersonating another person. We may refuse service to anyone we reasonably suspect of abuse, and unlawful use is entirely your responsibility.

4. The Oga Pass & payments

The Oga Pass costs ₦2,000 (or such other price as displayed) and unlocks watermark-free documents for 30 days from activation. Passes do not renew automatically — when a pass expires, you simply buy a new one if you wish. Payments are processed by our licensed payment provider; their processing terms apply to the transaction itself. Digital codes that have been delivered are non-transferable.

5. Refunds

If a pass code fails to work, contact us on WhatsApp and we will fix it or refund you. Otherwise, because documents are available free of charge before any purchase, all sales of activated passes are final.

6. Intellectual property

The DocOga software, templates, wording and brand belong to DocOga. You own the documents you create and may use them freely for your lawful personal or business purposes. You may not resell, scrape or republish the DocOga tools or templates as a competing product.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocOga's total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 30 days. We are not liable for disputes between landlords and tenants, losses arising from documents you alter, misuse, or decisions made without independent legal advice.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page.
